The Big Bonanza Blast Recap!
We started off rainy before the first flight started. Probably scared off a few fair-weather shooters but as soon as 8 o’clock rolled around, it was beautiful! The Sun was peeking out of a few clouds here and there but it made for a beautiful Fall day. The second flight was even prettier as it was nothing but deep blue skies and fat fluffy clouds swirling rapidly. There was even a Unicorn that flew by. No, I’m not writing a poem. 🙂
NEXT MONTH: THE GUN DRAWING!
That’s right, mark your calendar for December 3rd as you won’t want to miss your chance to win that Beretta A400 from Pacific Sporting Arms! If you’ve shot any of the Big Bonanza shoots starting in July, you’ve got tickets in the barrel. You have to be there to win and the drawing takes place after the 2nd flight.
Nice shooting Jimmy Heller
Jimmy walked out and smashed 96×100 like it was nothing. He had two brand new shooters on his squad too, so while he was shooting, he was showing these beginners how to keep score and the difference between a true and report pair. I guess this disproves that you need an expert squad to break big scores (and it doesn’t hurt to be a shotgunning legend like Jimmy either).
Congratulations to Jimmy, but where are the rest of the scores?
Here you go…
The pictures and video!
Thank you to Jim Bloomfield again for great photos and videos of this event. You can find all shoot-media on our Facebook page. Over 40 pictures were taken and 2 videos were made. Check them out and while you’re there, be sure to “Like” us. You don’t need to have a Facebook account in order to see them.
