In the Beginning...
Pat, Janet and Cory Moore were from Reno, Nevada before they made the move to the Golden State. While in Reno, they were the owners of PJ's Sporting Clays which was a Trap, Sporting Clays and planted bird hunting club. Pat and Janet also ran one of the largest Trap Shooting events on the West Coast called The Golden West Grand.

Well, unfortunately things became stale in Nevada. The cold winters were tough and people just didn't want to participate in outdoor sports unless they involved skis or a snowmobile. Pat caught wind of a fantastic piece of land located in Southern California that was nestled in between a Rifle/Pistol range and a Silhouette Pistol shooting range. "Sounds like an ideal place to build a Sporting Clays course", thought Pat, so he notified the troops (Janet and Cory) and they began their move down south.

After Angeles Shooting Ranges agreed to the Moore's becoming part of their shooting park family, Cory and Pat quickly began the construction of Moore N Moore Sporting Clays. After Four months of planning and building, they opened their doors June 1st, 1990.

And as the Story unfolds...
Rapidly we began to develop a large base of members and regular customers. Many customers were so enthusiastic they donated their time and building materials to help Pat and Cory build the base for what is now the club house. Even now, the members are more than ready to lend a hand by building, cleaning and planting donated trees around the course.Southern California was definately a great decision. The people were very friendly and the weather was perfect year-round.

20 Years Later...
Moore N Moore is thriving better than ever thanks to our loyal customers and proud members. The business is flourishing each year and we're doing our best to upgrade and maintain every aspect of the range. Carmelo still runs the outside, Pat and Cory take care of the Pro-Shop and Janet stops in frequently to see old friends. Sticking with this core team, Moore N Moore Sporting Clays has become the best Sporting Clays course in Southern California and without a doubt the "Friendliest Range in Southern California"!

The End...
The end? We're just getting started.
